What is an Entrepreneur?

What is an entrepreneur? What does it take to become a successful business owner? Why work for yourself?

Technically an entrepreneur is a person who provides a product or service to other for a profit. This can include small business owners, service providers, commission based salesmen, inventors and innovators, and home based internet business owners.

The majority of self made millionaires in the united states are entrepreneurs. They make up more of the millionaire population that doctors, lawyers, and CEO’s combined.

The reason for this is simple. When you work for yourself you get paid based on your results, not just the amount of hours you put in at the office. Working for an hourly wage is a perfect way to limit your income, but who would want to do that?

Entrepreneurs are self employed and therefore they do not rely on someone else to pay them. For this reason they do not need to spend countless hours at work to make a living. They leverage their income so that they make more money in less time, giving them complete freedom and control over their lives.

But getting stated often takes courage. When you decide to start your own business and be your own boss, you are not guaranteed anything.

But it is important to keep in mind that without risk there is no grand reward. This is why the self made millionaires are those who saw the same opportunities as others yet had the courage to give them a try.

If you never give yourself an opportunity to be your own boss you will forever be doomed to work for others, and you chances of ever getting rich are slim to none.

However, if you have the desire for self employment, take a chance on a profitable opportunity, and stick it out until the end, nothing will ever stand in your way. You will not only be able to get rich but you will take complete control over your future.
