Time management for entrepreneurs is a critical component of success

Proper time management for business owners is a must. When you are calling the shots, you need to be reliable.

Many people do not want the responsibility that comes with working for themselves. Sure they would love all of the benefits like more time and money to enjoy, but they are not confident in their abilities.

Employees are structured. They are told when to work, how to work, and they are managed and even micromanaged by others. They really have little responsibility for the management of time, except for the occasional deadline. But their jobs require very little initiative. They are basically told what to do and when to do it, they are given very little freedom.

Entrepreneurs on the other hand have taken back their freedom. They call the shots. They decide how much to work, when and where to work, and ultimately they decide what level of income they want to enjoy.

But this added privilege does not come without some added responsibility. They must be action oriented people who take initiative and get things done when they need to be done. Some people need structure, but not entrepreneurs. They not only enjoy the freedom that comes with self employment but they are also capable of handling it.
