Teens Make Money

I have been very lucky to do just that. It was the beginning of my junior year of college, and I was bartending late nights, and I was barely getting by. Graduation was still years away, and I got a little frustrated. "Is this it, am I doomed to struggle financially until I graduate? And then what, more of the same?" It was about that time that I had noticed many people making cast sums of money with online home business opportunities. It seemed like my only way out, so I decided to give it a go.

Long story short, I am finishing up my junior year a year later, and I haven't needed a job since I started my online business. I won't need a job next year either. Actually, I will never need to get a "real job, " whatever that means anyway. I have found a way to escape the 9-5 rut, and a few years before I even got into it. My plans for the future changed from "job hunting" to "building my next business." I will now pursue (or already am, depending on when you read this) the things I really want to do, like open a Nite Club and do some real estate and stock market investing. This is what I have always ultimately wanted to do, and now I don't have to wait a number of years to make it happen. Actually, I will be doing all of thes before I even hit the ripe old age of 25.

So what benefits come when college students teens make money online? Based on my own personal experiences, as well as the numerous experiences of others I know, the benefits can be, and usually are, marvelous.

Benefit #1-You Don't Need to Wait Tables to Pay for College!!

College students know how expensive it can be to pursue an education, and even more so to maintain an active social life at the same time. It can be pretty chaotic balancing a full time college course AND a full time (or even part time) job. Plus, the jobs that college students usually have pay very little. After paying for school expenses, transportation and gas, living costs and housing, and food (Top Ramen anyone?), there is hardly anything left over to spend on the fun stuff. Even worse, many students end up spending less time studying so they can work more to make ends meet, and maybe have a little spending money. This takes a toll on the whole educational process, and often makes it a stressful time rather than an enjoyable one.

Is this an inevitable situation? I don't think it needs to be.....acutally, I know that it's not!! Starting an online business can make the entire process much more enjoyable, less stressful, and the future more promising. Students can earn more money than they would working at a restaurant, and at the same time have more time to spend on their education and social life. After the first couple of months, the amount of time required to sustain an online business decreases dramatically. In fact, earning residual and passive income streams can give students the option to work when (and where) they want, and they can choose the hours that work best for them.

#2-High School Teens Make Money and Set Themselves Up

I know 15 year old high school students who started very successful (and profitable) online businesses. In fact, they are making several thousand dollars a month before they even turn 18!! Teenagers are incredibly computer-savvy. They know how to network on the Net, set up webpages websites, send emails and other forms of online communication, and many other skills that are necessary for an online business to work. Why wouldn't a teen want to start one?

It's a productive way to spend their time, and they will develop many skills that will help out later in life no matter what they decide to do after high school. And by building a business that earns money 24/7, teens make money so that they can head off to college with a steady income. They will never need to flip-burgers or wait tables to make ends meet. They can focus on their education, and enjoy a the entire college experience without having to worry about money.

#3- Developing Priceless Skill for Life After School

Many teens have big career goals that do not revolve soley around making money. When teens make money by starting an online business, they learn a number of valuable skills that will help land them any job, and skills that will add value to the company they work for. Education is obviously a huge factor in getting securing a great job, but experience plays an even bigger role. What kind of experience are learned when teens make money from the Internet?

First of all they learn a great deal about online marketing and advertising. Online marketing is a practice that practically every business these days is actively pursuing. Running a successful online business gives teens and college students real life experience and credibility that can be added to a resume. Networking is a skill that also applies to every career.

Working online can help teens and college students develop professional networking and communication skills. Effective writing also plays a large part in any online business, whether it be in the form of articles, webpages and websites, or written advertisements. Writing practiced at school is a great start, but the feedback is at the teachers discretion, and is judged on grammer and format rather than effectiveness. The feedback is also much more useful because it is based on how effective it is and not by how a critical teacher views it.

And lastly, an online business for college students and high school teens opens up all sorts of new opportunities. Many teens don't want to graduate and go right into the workforce. Many students are aspiring entrepreneurs who have dreams of starting other types of offline businesses.

There are no college courses that give you the hands on experience that come when teens make money by building a real Net-biz. And since the incomes can grow to be very large within a matter of years, these young entrepreneurs can raise their own capital and support themselves until their new business takes flight.
