We all have subconscious beliefs that are rooted deeply in our minds. This can either work for us or against us, depending on the nature of the belief.

Beliefs can either empower us or limit us, and unfortunately most people have limiting beliefs that hold them back from attaining what they really want in life.

For example lets take a look at the issue of money. Money is a common stumbling block for most people because they desperately want to have more, yet they have subconscious beliefs about wealth and success that hold them back from getting it, or even striving for it in most cases.

Some common beliefs that limit people in this area are:

It is righteous to be poor….

Money can’t buy happiness…

It takes too much effort to get rich…..

Money doesn’t grow on trees…..

Times are hard…

No doubt you have either said these things to yourself or have heard others say them. These are limiting beliefs that will hinder you from getting rich.

And the area of finances and success is only one area. People hold limiting beliefs in many areas of their life like:

My parents got divorced so I probably will too…

All of my family is overweight, so I guess I am doomed….

And the list can go on and on. If you are not experiencing the results that you would like in any particular area of your life, you will do good to look into the problem and to see if there are any limiting beliefs that may subconsciously be hurting your progress.
