True organic listings Anyone who’s under the impression that search engine optimization needs to cost a lot of money is sadly mistaken. The fact is that it doesn’t need to cost money to search engine optimize a site, all it requires is that you understand a few rules, know what it is that the search engines are looking for, and spend your time in building the components of your website that actually draws in search engine traffic. If you are not getting the kind of traffic that you want, your first step should not be to optimize but to expand. The more keyword focused content pages that you have on your website, the more traffic you will generate on a daily basis. I recently expanded my website from 100 pages to well over 2000 pages and the increase in traffic in just a couple of short weeks has been truly phenomenal. I recommend creating a list of low competition keywords, and then using each of these to build a web page of about 300 to 400 words. By doing this you will allow for your website to be found under many more search terms and keywords, therefore expanding your influence and your potential. After doing this you will want to add credibility to your website so that your pages get listed and ranked highly. This is done by building your link popularity. The more inbound links a website has, the more credible it looks in the eyes of the search engines. While many people spend a fortune on expensive directory listings, I built an impressive link popularity the free way. First I got listed in a number of free directories. I used my judgment and found ones that were search engine friendly and had only quality listings. This way they were viewed more credibly in the search engines eyes, therefore giving me a more powerful link. After I got over 100 free listings, I began doing some article marketing. Article marketing is free and you can promote your website link in the author resource box after each article. By submitting small articles to several different sites, you can secure some very credible inbound links. I followed the same routine and within a couple of months my website traffic doubled. Then, a month later, it doubled again. Now it is growing on a daily basis and the snowball of traffic that I have created is extremely exciting. My profits are going to the roof, and my business is booming like never before.
