That record didn’t last long. Before long, Bill Gates and his wife Melinda started the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Over the past several years the foundation has grown into a philanthropic giant. It now has assets that are valued at close to $30 billion dollars.

The single biggest donation, however, was a $30,000,0000,0000 donation. Who was the incredibly wealthy individual who was able to hand over $30 billion dollars, without even blinking an eye? Warren Buffet, one of the richest men in the world, was the man who gave this incredible donation to those that needed it more. Who said rich people aren’t generous? Most of them absolutely are.
