As a blog increases in useful, informative content, the traffic will increase and so will its earning potential.

Next to content is another key factor of creating a traffic and income generating blog, and that is keywords. Keywords are what the engines use to sort and list web and blog pages. The keywords should be relevant to the blog, have low competition (not many other people using the same keywords), and they should also be used in just the right proportion depending on the amount of content. Keyword spamming (trying to cram in a keyword as many times as possible) is a horrible idea that will never do anything positive for search engine results, traffic, or income.

It is best to do what pleases the engines. Using a keyword or phrase about 1 time per every hundreds words is the optimal usage amount. This lets the engines know what the page is about without making them feel manipulated.
