The best internet businesses allow you to join absolutely FREE. This makes sense right? I mean, they are obviously going to profit from having you on board.

Why would they charge you to make money?

Doesn't make any sense. Finding FREE opportunities is the first step to choosing the right business, and avoiding internet business scams.

You don't need to spend money to start a legitimate home business. The real online companies earn money from their affiliates promoting their products or services, and they don't charge you simply to sign up.

If a company allows you to join without charge, they are most likely legitimate. However with many popular affiliate programs you will need to purchase a product each month, and that is o.k.

In this case you are not spending money simply to be a part of the program, rather purchasing one of the quality products they provide to keep money circulating in the business.

Often these purchases are under $30, and you can try the company out for a month or more before required (if ever required) to buy.

Any time you pay for anything, just make sure that you're getting something of value for your money. You should never have to pay to just "sign-up."

Rule #2-Realize that it takes time!

This is another avenue that gets people into trouble.

There is hype all over the Net. "Make $250k your first week!" or "Million dollar first year potential!"

These "get rich quick schemes" usually sound too good to be true, and generally they are.
