Multi level marketing is a great home business opportunity that offers anyone the potential to earn an unlimited income. But only if you are able to generate leads.
A home business without leads is like a restaurant without any patrons, you simply cannot and will not make any money.
But getting leads does not need to be difficult, as long as you know what you are doing.
There are many internet marketing methods that anyone can utilize successfully with little or no practice. I want to share with you 4 lead generating techniques that I have used with outstanding results.
#1-Article Marketing This is definitely one of my favorites. There are many article directories that let anyone write and submit articles on a wide range of topics. One of my personal favorites is ezinearticles.com, but there are many others. All you need to do is write small articles that your target audience would be interested in. Throughout the article and at the end of it in the “author resource” box you can promote your business, either sending people to your personal website or your opportunity signup page. If you use low competition keywords in your articles, you have a chance of getting them picked up by the engines.
#2-Craigslist Ads Many people do not believe me when I tell them that I built the downline of my first MLM program to over 300 first level team members in only a couple of months using nothing more than craigslist ads, but it’s true. It was the first marketing method I figured out, and when I posted ads each and every day, I would receive anywhere from 5-15 leads each day. The key to classified advertising on sites such as craigslist is using powerful headlines that grab the reader’s attention. The headline is the most important part, so take your time to create attention grabbers.
#3-Blogging Not everyone is successful at blogging, but this is simply because most people do not understand how to make their blogs receive a lot of visitors. The key is content, and the more of it you have, the better your results. Do not simply blast ads through your blog, but rather use it as a tool to build traffic that you can then market your opportunities to. Add content daily, content that is fresh, interesting, and informative. This is the best way to get return visitors, which is a must. You should also use low competition keywords in each of your blog posts, therefore giving them a chance to get listed in the search engines for even greater traffic.
#4-Word Of Mouth This is something that I had a problem with when I first got started with MLM. I knew that many people would likely be interested in what I was offering, but I was too timid to promote myself and my business. But I realized that people are very receptive when it comes to making money, and if you can show them how they can benefit from joining your network, you will have no problem in generating leads throughout your regular daily routines. Something that worked great for me was to get some free business cards at vistaprint.com and hand them out whenever the opportunity arose.
