What is the definition of an entrepreneur? Well there is the dictionary definition that will tell you that an entrepreneur is anyone who provides a service or product to others for a profit. Entrepreneurs include small and large business owners, inventors, service providers, and business opportunity seekers.

While this is the technical definition of an entrepreneur, it hardly even comes close to giving a real description of the entrepreneurial type. Entrepreneurs have mindsets that are different than that of most employees and wage earners. What makes entrepreneurs unique?

Successful entrepreneurs, self made millionaires and other successful business owners, invariably have a confident, optimistic, positive approach to their ventures. They set high goals for themselves and from the very beginning they expect to reach those goals.

This positive expectation to succeed is the real determining factor in ones success. When you expect to fail you will look for obstacles that will thwart you attempts. When you are seeking obstacles you will inevitably find more of them showing up. Expect to fail and you will fail, there can be no other way.

A positive expectation of success on the other hand shift your attention away from obstacles and places it solely on the opportunities at hand as well as the steps that are needed to reach ones goals.

If you can expect success, and you are willing to take consistent action to realize you dreams, nothing will ever be able to stand in your way.
