It can be difficult at first to begin thinking positively, especially if you are used to being negative and pessimistic.
The way that we think is habitual, and if you are anything like many people you have created the habit of negative thinking.
How do you know if you think negatively? Well it is pretty easy to tell. If you are worried and stressed often, if you always expect the worst, and if you do not feel in complete control over your life, you definitely need to make an effort to start thinking more positively.
At first it will take a lot of effort. You will need to consciously replace every negative thought that you have with a more positive and constructive one. This can take effort, but it will get easier with time.
