There is only one thing it this world that you have 100% control over, and it is your power of choice. You cannot control every circumstance in your life, but you can control how you react to those circumstances. What is really terrific is that when you begin using your power of choice, you actually begin to regain complete control over all of the other areas of your life. When you choose to respond negatively to a negative situation, you give powerful, emotional thought to it. You subconscious will pick up on this message and it will bring you more of the same. But when something that is perceived as negative occurs, you have the power to choose to react in a positive way, and that is a choice that will have profound effects on your life. So what happens then? Well rather then sending negative messages to your subconscious, you reprogram it with the new, more positive way that you handled the situation. Because of this you subconscious responds not by bringing you more negatively, but with more harmonious and pleasing situations. See, the problem with the way most people make choices is that they are not really making an choices at all. Sure they might feel that they are in control, but they are not. We are creatures of habit, and most of the “choices” that we think we make are not choices but preprogrammed responses. When you act and think in a habitual way, you are not using your most powerful resource. To take control you simply need to be aware of the choices that you make ion each moment.
