One of the best tips I have ever learned when it comes to internet marketing is that you will get the best results when you focus on providing value to those who you are trying to reach.
Now this has nothing to do with the product or service you are marketing, but rather in how you go about your advertising campaigns.
Most people are concerned with only one thing, making money. Therefore that is their entire focus as they attempt to reach and influence those in their target market.
But I have found much more success when I shifted my thinking. Once I began adding value whenever possible, I found that I was being sought after rather than chasing others.
For example, many people use web pages for their promotions. But most people are only interested in making money, therefore they plaster their pages with ads, links, and banners, and that is it.
We have all seen these types of pages and I do not know about you, but I usually click right off any time I find myself on one.
How much more likely would you be to stay on a page and give it more attention if it offered something to you, maybe some tips or some valuable information?
This can be applied to all forms of marketing including website building, classified advertising, blogging, and article marketing. Give people something that they want and you will have an easier time getting them to do what you want.
