The art of motivation is something that needs to be understood by anyone who wants to reach their goals
What exactly what is the art of motivation?
Well in simple terms it is being able to get yourself and or others to take action for attaining ones goals.
Without a strong internal motivation, no one would ever achieve anything great.
The attainment of big goals and big successes does not happen by chance or luck.
Rather, real success comes only after action has been taken.
And this is the reason why the majority of people never reach their highest aspiration in life.
Sure we all have desires, but only those who have the motivation necessary to take action will actually achieve them.
So where does motivation stem from?
Well it stems from your desires.
But as I said everyone has desires, so why do only some people get inspired to achieve them?
Basically, the more you want something the more you will be willing to do what you need to get it.
If you ask many people what they want to get out of life they might give you some vague answer.
I would like to earn more money.
Or…. I would like to have a nice house and the happy family.
Or… I’d like to be able to travel and see the world.
You see a problem with these goals? Well sure, they are way too general and vague.
And that type of goal or desire does not have much motivating power because it does not inspire excitement and passion.
It has been said before by Brian Tracy, one of the world’s foremost motivational speakers, that success equals goals, and everything else is merely commentary.
How true the statement really is.
But as we can see, not just any goal has enough power to drive someone to big success.
A real goal is one that is clear, precise, and big.
If you do not know exactly what you want to achieve, you will be much less likely to actually strive for it.
Just the same, if your goal is too small, it will not be enough of a burning desire for you to take action.
Therefore, before setting out on any venture, it is important to decide exactly what you want to achieve.
And make sure that your goals are large enough so that when you think about them they bring forth excitement and positive emotions.
Small goals may help you achieve small success, but if you want to achieve big, you need to think big.
And one other tip for maximizing motivation will be to give constant attention to the goals that you want to achieve. The more attention that you get them, the stronger your desire to achieve them will become.
The more that you want something, the more likely you will be to get it.
