Amazon Affiliates
Amazon affiliates beware, you could be earning much more money!
When I first started my Internet Marketing business, I use Amazon as one of my main sources for affiliate products to promote.
This was until I realized that Amazon Affiliates do not make very much money at all, and the reason is that the commissions are just too low.
Many other affiliate marketing companies such as Clickbank offer commissions that range anywhere from 30% to 75%, depending on the product.
This usually lands you sales of anywhere from $20 to $100 dollars or more.
Amazon Affiliates on the other hand only get 7% to 10% commissions, and they are only able to earn a couple of dollars per sale, sometimes less.
I still promote a few Amazon Products on my websites, but primarily for my visitors convenience.
Amazon does offer a wide selection of books for just about any website niche.
However I do not rely on it for a large portion of my income.
Rather, most of my income comes from the products that come from Clickbank, and a few other Network Marketing affiliate companies that offer leveraged incomes.
One thing that I learned very early on in my Internet Marketing career was that diversification is critical.
You never want to have all your eggs in one basket so to speak.
And that is part of the beauty about starting an online business, the fact that you can create multiple income streams simply, easily, and effectively. This makes for not only a more secure income, also a larger income.
This is why I like using a website for my online business. It allows me to market a wide variety of products, services, and business opportunities that my target audience will appreciate.
And if one of my income streams is not doing well I do not worry because I have several others to compensate.
And at times when all of them are operating in full force, you can imagine that my income is rather large.
This is not meant to brag must simply to share with you what I feel are essential components of a high earning Internet Marketing success.
Best of luck with all your marketing and advertising business goals, and let me know if I can be of any assistance to you as you continue your journey.
