If you follow some simple SEO practices, you can get listed in the big search engines and get traffic for free each and every day.

Craigslist
I built my first affiliate marketing business with nothing more than well written ads that I posted on craigslist. This is a free advertising medium that you can use to get some terrific results. Just try and play by the rules that craigslist has, otherwise you may get banned. But if you do things right, you can generate a lot of action for your affiliate program.

Pay Per Click Marketing
If you have some money that you want to invest in advertising, you will not get more for your dollar than you will with Pay Per Clicks. Google and Yahoo are the biggest providers. When someone searches relevant keywords at the search engines, you ad will pop up next to the results. They do not look like ads, and therefore many people click on them. You only pay for actual clicks, so there is no wastage.

Article Marketing
This is one of my personal favorites because it is fast, easy, free, and it offers long term results. Each article you write and submit can generate leads for years to come. And when you write and submit articles on a daily basis, your results will continue to multiply and you will find them generating more and more traffic to your affiliate links.

And one thing that I do want to add is that it is better to be able to do one thing really well than it is to do several things poorly. Choose a method and master it before moving on to the next. Best of luck!
