How to Find Wholesalers For Your eBay BusinessHow to Find Wholesalers For Your eBay Business By Chris E Bowser If you've spent any time shopping on eBay, I'm sure you're aware that there are several types of sellers on the site. You have "garage sale" types of people who are basically selling whatever junk they have sitting around the house, then there are the people who are selling their own products that they make themselves, but the vast majority of those who make it big on eBay today are those who sell products sold by others. These guys buy the product wholesale and then sell it retail on eBay. But how do you find wholesalers for your own eBay business? Well, to find a wholesaler for your eBay business, you should look into drop-shipping services. A drop ship service is one where your merchandise isn't actually owned by you at all and you never actually see the products you are selling, except in the form of photos. The way it works is that a drop shipper will have purchased the products and arranges to ship them out on your behalf. All you need to do is to supply them with the name and address of your customer and they take care of everything else. The drop ship service will also provide you with both photos of the products they have for sale and wholesale and suggested retail prices of their products so that you can decide exactly what to charge on your eBay store. Many of them will have a minimum monthly order in order to keep out those who are just making purchases for their own retail needs and most of them will ship in a package with your name listed as the shipper but their address as the return address. They also handle all returns on your behalf, should the need arise. Keep a close eye on the policies that your drop shipper follows regarding returns because those same policies will have to be your policies on your eBay store. Of course, this is only half the battle. You still need to know how to find a wholesaler for your eBay business, even if you know what to look for. However, this part is the easiest of all. Simply Google the term "drop shipper." I did it and found 288 million listings. You will need to take the time to investigate any drop shipper you choose to work with. What I did when I used one for my eBay business was to actually order some products from them and have them shipped to a friend of mine. This way, I could see what products they shipped and I was able to see how they were packaged (i.e. if they were packed well, if they indeed used my own name on the shipping label, if the products were quality stuff I'd be proud to sell, etc). It does take time, but you will find yourself with a successful eBay business before long if you take the time to do your homework first. Chris Bowser has a passion for everything eBay.
