Robert Kiyosaki on The Law of Compensation
Robert Kiyosaki on The Law of CompensationRobert Kiyosaki on The Law of Compensation By Rebecca C Ness There's an article in Success Magazine's September 2010 issue by Robert Kiyosaki about the Law of Compensation. It can be applied to everything in life. Basically, no matter what you are doing, whether it is being a good parent, building a business, or getting in shape, you won't see results without practice and discipline. Anything worthwhile having takes time and hard work. In the beginning, you put in maximum effort with minimum results, but after a certain amount of time you will see maximum results with minimum effort. It's the law of the universe and the key it just to reach the 'tipping point' where it all the time you have put in starts to pay off. Robert Kiyosaki gives two examples in his article about how he has personally experienced the law of compensation. The first is about his book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad". In the beginning, nobody wanted to publish it, if you can believe it. But he and his wife worked hard for three years and finally it landed on the best sellers list. I don't know if you have read it, but it is life changing. I read it for the first time when my kids were small and I was amazed at the financial enlightenment that came with it. (It took a few more years until I actually started to apply it, but reading it planted the seed.) The second example Robert Kiyosaki talks about is his health. When he hit 50, he decided to get healthy and he hired a personal trainer. He worked hard and pushed through and regained his health. Like anything you apply the law of compensation to, even though it seems hard in the beginning, the end result is always worth it. Growing a business is the same. It's just a matter of staying consistent, pushing through, and getting to that tipping point where things change. Once you get to that point, you can then apply the 80/20 rule (20 being work), but until you get there, it's more like 20/80. If you are in network marketing in particular, you must understand this law. Most people quit their network marketing company because of it. I mean, who wants to work hard and not get compensated for it? The people who do persevere and stay with it, are the ones who change their lives. It's not how smart or lucky you are in how far you go with your business, but how consistent you are, and how well you understand the law of compensation. And if you are not in the network marketing industry, you may want to read up on more of what Robert Kiyosaki says about it. Don't get caught in the close-minded viewpoint so many people have about it. Especially if you are being affected by today's economy. If you think the economy has to improve before your financial situation does, you're wrong. You can make a choice for prosperity-now. And one of the quickest (but not easiest) ways to build a business and achieve wealth is in the network marketing industry.
