It is important when you are the webmaster of an online business website that you examine every avenue of income potential that is available to you. AdSense may be one of these opportunities that you can leverage an online business income from.

AdSense is the Google program that is closely related to AdWords. AdSense is responsible for placing adverts into the categories that match the corresponding website being visited.

For example if you did a search on Google on 'golf buggies' then AdWords would have relevant adverts in the 'Ads by Google' down the right hand side of the page.

These adverts are placed according to relevance to the website being visited and so would likely consist of adverts for golf paraphernalia which may include buggies.

If however, you searched for 'golf buggies' on a different search engine then the AdWord adverts would be placed on the corresponding web pages by AdSense.

This allows people that advertise with Google to have their adverts placed in many more places that just on Google responsive pages. Good for the advertiser and the customer.

These adverts can be placed onto the right hand side of your webpage and if someone clicks on one of these then you will be paid. The better the advert is targeted to the content of your web page then the more responsive the traffic is going to be and the more clicks on these adverts you can expect.

It can be seen why it is important to have keywords in good density throughout your web page, meta tags and description. Google uses a complex series of algorithms to decide on relevance and it is a dynamic process which means that if you change your web site content then the adverts will change too.

AdSense adverts do not usually detract from the content of your own webpage and you should not feel that the customer should only purchase from your web page because the customer will examine as many options as they feel comfortable about before they make their purchase.

There is a high likelihood that you may be able to collect twice if your product is advertised well and attracts the customer they may well click on the advert to investigate this and then also come back and purchase the product from your site.

AdSense is easy to use and simple once set up. You don't have to monitor it as Google does this with a variety of tools that ensure that the adverts are well matched with the content on your web page.

They have been proven to be the most effective form of adverts in their text ad style and demonstrate a high click through rate which is great if you are being paid per click.

Having Google adverts on your web page under AdSense can be a profitable business for the web master and this should be considered as an option to increase the money flowing into your bank account from your online ventures.

Even though it is only a few cents per click we all know how quickly this builds up into a decent account when we are advertising and paying for the clicks so surely it would be nice to be on the receiving end for a while.
