It is usually overlooked in the MLM Industry and it involves a very low investment that almost anyone can afford. Unlike other businesses such as a franchise or real estate that have a high cost and risks that are involved. To make a decent income in the MLM home business industry, it will take 3-5 years of hard work and the ability to fire your boss in corporate America where you are working a 9-5 Job (Just Over Broke). You also want to be sure you join the right company with the products that you're passionate about and be around the best leaders or mentors in order to learn new marketing skills and personal development. Personal development isn't optional. It is a must if you want to make it in the network marketing industry.

When you first get started as a new distributor, you are marketing the old school way that is outdated. This is what you're being taught from your upline. In the old school way, you first need to build a list of friends and family and call them to pitch your business opportunity. This isn't the best marketing or prospecting skills to use today. Most of them don't want to hear about your business. This won't work for 97% of the people in the MLM home business industry.

So there is a better way to market your business on the internet and we call it the new web 2.0. Over 95% of People in networking marketing use the offline strategies that they don't learn or apply online. You need to find a leader or mentor who does it both offline and online. It will increase your chances of succeeding in MLM the right way.
