How to Create a Coaching Business
How to Create a Coaching BusinessHow to Create a Coaching Business By Sean R Mize A lot of people say that knowledge is power but I'd say knowledge is money. I've proven that if you're an expert and if you're successful in your field, you can easily make money by offering coaching programs designed to help people who were once in your shoes and didn't know what to do to realize their goals. My friend Chris has started learning about the stock market when we were in college. By the time we hit 30, he already know the ins and outs of the industry. Every now and then, friends and acquaintances would ask him for expert tips and advice. Today, he made a business out of that. He's now offering coaching programs for those people who want to invest in stock market but do not have enough knowledge about it. And you know how much he makes? $1,000-$5,000 per week. Not bad, huh? You too can be like Chris. You can capitalize on your in-depth knowledge and make a lot of money. Not expert on stock market? Well, that's okay. List down the things that you know really, really well and figure out which ones have viable market. Perhaps you're a diving master, an accomplished writer, a great relationship advisor, etc. Here's how you can start your own coaching business: 1. First, attend seminars related to starting a coaching business so you'll be equipped with necessary know-how. In these seminars, you'll learn about website and blog creation, internet marketing, market research, and other important components of setting up and running an online business in the world wide web. Make sure that you sign up with those seminars offered by reputable companies to ensure that you'll get exactly what you need. 2. Create your website. Start by creating a good looking website. Your goal here is to ensure that this will be considered a great resource material on your chosen niche. Make it visually appealing by partnering with the best web designers and load it up with crucial information that your visitors will find useful. 3. Create your coaching programs. There are different programs that you can offer in the online arena. There's monthly and there's comprehensive program that can last up to six months. You can offer it using phone, email, by giving out CD or DVD series, or in person. As you're just starting out, I would suggest that you stick with email coaching first as it's relatively easy compare to face-to-face coaching. 4. Commit yourself to making your clients happy. This is one thing that you need to have to really succeed in this endeavor. You need to make sure that each of your programs is designed to really help your clients in realizing their goals. This will mean giving them the exact information and assistance that they require and sometimes, going extra mile to ensure that they're really happy with your service. 5. Promote your website and your coaching programs. Do not wait for your potential clients to find you online. Instead, be very proactive and be the one to reach out to them. Be active on relevant forums and blogs. Then, promote your website through content based marketing solutions.
