AdSense is an easy choice for the home based business owner. The challenge is, how to make it work profitably. Usually the home based business owner must make some tests, before the success concept will be hidden. After that, the only worry is to drive traffic to the site or blog.

When AdSense ads form the main monetization way, the whole site must be planned according to this selection. AdSense ads are the main content of the site and the other content is just supporting the customer, so that he would click the ads. To the site visitor the clicking is a free thing and does not form any risk.

1. Google Knows How The Ads Should Look Like.

AdSense ads have a good service and the selection of different ad forms, sizes and colours is wide. Google offers also a forum, where a medium owner can find tips to succeed even better. Or he can benchmark other sites or blogs, which have succeeded in the home based business.

2. Pick The High Paying Google Keywords.

Google puts the ads to the page by reading the meta tags, i.e. the page must be optimized with the related, high paying AdSense keywords, if the owner wants a decent income. These keywords, rather the long tail ones, must have enough advertisers and searchers regularly, because Google sells the ad space in the real time auction. The testing is required in the selection. Only by testing the site owner can find the working locations, colours and sizes for his ads. Only some hundred visitors will tell, whether the ad will work or should the owner pick another size, colour or location.

AdSense service offers quite wide selection of ad forms but also professional stats with which a site owner can follow, how the results are formed. Google Analytics tells how the visitors have moved on the site pages, how long they have stayed on some site page and which keywords they have used, among other things.

5. It Is Easy For A Visitor To Click.

AdSense can draw clickers successfully, because the ads, either text ads or image ads, have the ability to get the attention. Their presentation is quite suggestive and because they are related to the search terms and to the page content, a visitor has the temptation to click the link. Usually he does not separate the ads from the other content.
